A majority of the benefits realized from Bonneville Fuels are derived from the combustion
and deposit surface modifiers included in the Bonneville Fuels formulation. Each
benefit listed below has a short technical explanation.
Removes Deposits: Bonneville Fuel's catalytic components cause deposit removal
by interacting with the surface of the deposit and lower activation energy of its
chemical bonds. This allows for the release of carbon atoms in the form of CO2 to
occur at the lower temperatures found at the deposit surface. Near immediate increases
in horsepower of 5-15% have been recorded on dynamometers!
Inhibits Deposit Formation: Bonneville Fuel’s catalytic components inhibit
the agglomeration process, which the combustion by-products undergo when forming
heavy deposits. This process is stopped at the primary and secondary particle formation
phases resulting in smaller, lighter particles and lower ash levels.
Decreases Fuel Consumption: This benefit is realized as the deposits are
eliminated due to the more efficient conversion of the fuel to CO2! Deposit material
that absorbs and protects the fuel from complete combustion is being destroyed and
removed. Savings of 10-20% have typically been reported, which also impact bottom
line reporting!
Emissions Are Reduced: The primary source for harmful emissions is the carbon
deposit, which, when removed, dramatically reduces CO, NOx, SOx, HC and particulate
emissions. Reductions of up 80% have been realized, which also drop right to the
bottom line!
Exhaust Will Be Cooler: With a much higher combustion level release of CO2,
less is available for release during the exhaust phase resulting in lower temperatures
and a cooler exhaust.
Extended Oil Life: Fuels treated with Bonneville Fuels produce smaller and
less abrasive particles, which in connection with carbon deposit removal results
in cleaner, longer lasting oil contributing to reduced engine wear and less costly
maintenance charges. Oil changes have been extended up to three times as long and
maintenance charges have resulted in substantial repair cost savings!
Extends Equipment Life: Due to the lack of carbon deposit build-up, cleaner
oil and reduced friction from abrasive particles, injectors, valves, rings, and
associated parts show few signs of wear and tear even after extended use. This benefit
results in better control of capital expenditure, better resale value on retiring
equipment and lower parts inventory requirements. With more predictable preventive
maintenance programs, maintenance staffs could be managed more efficiently and 'right
sized'.
Octane Requirement Decreases: In gasoline applications, a lower octane fuel
can be used, due to the removal of carbon deposits, with the same performance level
of higher octane, higher cost alternatives.
Inhibits Stratification, Sludge Formation & Corrosion due to Bonneville Fuel’s
dispersant and corrosion inhibitors!
